You Need A Great Business-Dinner-Menu
When we say business-dinner-menu, we're talking about the kind that involves your co-workers. the preparation doesn't have to be difficult, but you can still impress them from beginning to end. Most of the recipes we offer on this site are relatively simple and we've had great success with them. No matter how easy, we know a business-dinner-menu, can bring on a little stress. What better way to relieve that than to avoid complicated recipes. The menu we offer is simple, but it works: • STUFFED MUSHROOMS appetizer • WHITE LASAGNA • SPINACH BREAD • SALAD of your choice • FRESH FRUIT TART dessert.
 
The appetizer shown below is particularly good for a business-dinner-menu because you can make them ahead of time, refrigerate them and heat in the oven just before serving. If you do refrigerate, you may want to heat a little longer than shown on the recipe.
• 24 medium to large mushrooms • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese • 2 green onions, chopped • 1/3 cup fine, unseasoned bread crumbs • 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine • 1/2 tsp salt • 1/2 tsp pepper • 1/2 tsp oregano • 1/2 tsp Worchestershire sauce • 1/4 tsp garlic powder • paprika
Remove stems from mushrooms; finely chop and transfer to medium bowl. Stir in cheese and green onions. Mix well. Add all remaining ingredients, except paprika, and blend well. Fill mushroom caps with mixture, sprinkle with paprika. Arrange mushrooms in shallow baking dish . Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 12 o 15 minutes or until heated through. NOTE: These can be heated in the microwave until heated through as well.
Here's another great recipe for your business-dinner-menu. What's great about lasagna is the smell that fills your place as your guests arrive.
• 8 uncooked lasagna noodles • 1 lb ground beef • 1/2 lb ground pork sausage • 1 cup chopped onion • 1/2 cup chopped celery • 1 garlic clove, minced • 2 tsp dried basil • 1 tsp dried oregano • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning • 1/2 tsp salt • 1 cup half-and-half • one 3-oz pkg cream cheese, softened • 1/2 cup dry white wine • 2 cups (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese • 1-1/2 cups (6 oz) shredded gouda cheese • one 12-0z cup small curd cottage cheese • 1 large egg, beaten • 2 cups (8 oz) shredded mozarella cheese
Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside. Cook ground beef, sausage and next 3 ingredients in large skillet, crumbling meat as it cooks; drain. Stir in basil, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, half-and-half and cream cheese. Then add wine, cheddar and gouda cheeses. Cook this mixture, stirring constantly, until all cheese melts. Set aside. Arrange half of noodles in lightly greased 13x9 -inch baking dish; top with half each of meat mixture, cheese mixture and mozarella cheese. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.

• One (10-oz) pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed • one (10-oz) pkg french rolls • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened • one medium onion, chopped • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted • one (6 0z) roll process cheese food with garlic • one tsp Worcestershire sauce • 1/8 tsp pepper • 2 cups (8 oz) shredded Mozzarella cheese.Drain spinach and squeeze dry with paper towels; set aside. Cut rolls in half lengthwise; spread halves with 1/4 cup butter. Saute' onion in remaining 1/4 cup butter; add garlic cheese, stirring until cheese melts. Remove from heat; add spinach, Worchestershire sauce, and pepper, stirring well. Spread spinach mixture on bread; sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve immediately. Makes 12 servings.
Graham Cracker Crust: • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs • 1 stick butter or margarine
Melt the butter/margarine, combine in medium bowl with graham cracker crumbs, mix well. Pour into pie plate and press into bottom and sides, leaving no holes or open spots. TART: • 8 oz. softened cream cheese • 1/4 cup sugar • 2 tsp lemon juice • 1/2 cup whipped cream • assorted fruit (blueberries, raspberries, sliced strawberries, sliced kiwi fruit, others of your choice). Combine all ingredients, except fruit, in bowl and beat at medium to high speed until fluffy. Spread into the prepared graham cracker crust and chill for several hours. When ready to serve, top with fruit.
